Dear Students,
I extend a warm welcome to you all in Maharashtra Mahavidyalaya, Nilanga. As you know, Hon’. Dr. Shivajirao Patil Nilangekar, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra established Maharashtra Shikshan Samiti (MSS) in June 1968.The society has a reputation in Maharashtra though it belongs to the rural areas of Marathwada. It has recognition in academic fields for nourishing the potentials among the students as it has been constantly striving for moulding the minds of the pupils for their better future. Under the aegis of Maharashtra Shikshan Samiti, Nilanga, Maharashtra Mahavidyalaya (Arts, Commerce, Science, BCA , B.Voc.,M.Sc.,M.Com.), Maharashtra College of Pharmacy and Maharashtra College of Engineering run independently.
Maharashtra Mahavidyalaya (Arts, Commerce, Science, BCA , B.Voc.,M.Sc.,M.Com), Nilanga is situated in the boundry of nature occupying more than 22 acres of land. The college has well furnished lecture halls and laboratories with all the modern instruments and facilities. The library is one of the attractions of the college. Containing vast collection of books and journals covering varied subjects and disciplines. Two big play grounds and three separate buildings are provided by the MSS for the residence of the students. MSS provided a separate building as principals quarter.
The College has the research centers for various disciplines recognized by Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.
We have experienced and qualified staff. 18 staff members have Ph. D. degrees and 02 teaching faculties have M. Phil. degrees which enhance the educational quality of the college. Experienced and efficient office staffs of 15 members render proper and speedy services with all the modern computing equipment.
Future Plans
- To start job oriented courses for the students to win the job in the market.
- Infrastructural development of the college for providing suitable educational atmosphere. This includes seminar hall / indoor play ground & language lab.
- Inviting national and multinational companies for campus interviews to provide job opportunities to the students, especially to type students of BCA & M.Sc.C.S.
- To organize Seminars, Conferences and Workshop in various subjects.
- To make the students self reliant for acquiring education by expending earn and learn scheme.
- To start lecture series of eminent persons to make the students confident and competent.
