Department of Botany
About the Department: In Maharashtra Mahavidylaya Nilanga B.Sc. programme started in 1985-86 from that date botany department comes in existence. Botany students receiving knowledge of various discipline of subjects as well as study of biodiversity by arranging excursion tours .Laboratory work also very important aspect for identification of different microbes, diseases and identification of flora. Department working till date running all program prescribed by SRTMU Nanded .Department of Botany have Research center since from 2004-2005 Dr. Bhagwan M.Waghmare is a Research guide from last 20 years under his guidance 5 students awarded Ph.D Degree from SRTMU Nanded .He also guided 4 M.Phil. Students.
